We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
This is my 6th year as a FOCUS missionary and I am honored to be serving at Lindenwood University in St. Louis, Missiouri.
I grew up in Fairfax, Virginia. I was raised Catholic, went to church every Sunday and even went to Catholic school until I went to college. Growing up my faith was only part of my life, just something I maybe sort of believed in because that was what I was told to believe in. This all changed when I went to college at George Mason University. It was within the first week of my freshman that I was invited into a FOCUS bible study, and being the open-minded, down for anything freshman that I was, I said yes. It was in this bible study that I encountered other college students my age striving in their faith, pursuing virtue, and growing in an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. Because of this bible study and the men that were in it, I began asking myself the deeper questions in life: What was my purpose? What is truth? Do I really believe in God?
Through this bible study and other incredible experiences during my freshman and sophomore year of college, I came to deeply encounter Jesus Christ and the hope and love that He brings. Over my next two years of college I continued attending bible study, entered into discipleship, and eventually started leading my own bible study in my senior year. Throughout my time at college, I saw the incredible transformation that God can do with those who give their life to Him, especially within myself. I am honored to serve college students and to help them encounter God like I did in college.
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. It’s an incredible opportunity to bring others on mission with me. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment. I’d be honored to share this mission with you.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
