We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
I am so excited and honored to serve students at Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction, CO!
I grew up Catholic, but I personally encountered Jesus for the first time when I came to college. I chose JMU for it’s nursing school, which was competitive and produced some high achieving nurses! I have wanted to be a nurse for as long as I can remember, and I was so excited to pursue a career that I thought would fulfill every expectation I had ever had for my life. Coming from a small Catholic school upbringing, I struggled my first year with academic and social pressures, and I felt like a face in the crowd, lonely and isolated. I fell away from my faith without accountability and a personal connection to the faith I was raised in. My sophomore year I met a FOCUS missionary who invited me to a Bible study. I met women who were experiencing the same struggles as I was, but they shared my values and they wanted to get to know me, for me. The way these women spoke about Jesus as a friend of theirs, as someone who loved them deeply and individually, astounded me. I started to grow in relationship with Jesus, and I learned to pray. My junior year at a FOCUS conference, Jesus invited me in a radical way to be his hands and feet on campus and share the fullness of joy that is life with Him. Now, I get to pursue my dream of becoming a nurse and live out this call to mission that the Lord has placed on my heart!
As a missionary, my greatest desire is to lead all students to Christ. My life has been transformed by Jesus and I want nothing more than to bring this joy to others and introduce them to the life-changing message of the Gospel. In His ministry on earth, Jesus humbled Himself to meet us on our level, taking on our humanity, and spent most of His time investing deeply in a few. I look to Jesus own example to find the best method of reaching the world. I am so excited to grow in relationship with Jesus alongside students at Colorado Mesa University. I truly believe the Lord is raising up a new generation of Saints!
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment. I’d be honored to share this mission with you.

We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
