As I head into my 5th year with FOCUS, I’m so excited to share that I will be returning this year as the Team Director of the FOCUS team serving Black Hills State University in Spearfish, SD where I served my first two years as a missionary. I am so humbled by this opportunity to serve the students and my teammates here at BHSU. This campus has been without FOCUS for the last two years since the start of the pandemic, and I couldn’t be more excited to be here and help reestablish the program in this wonderful community. ADDITIONALLY, I am joined this year on mission with my beautiful wife, Maclaine, who serves on the Marketing team with FOCUS. God is doing wonderful work here & I have a front row seat to marvel at His glory. Mac and I are so glad to be on this mission with you!

As a missionary, my greatest desire is to lead all students to Christ. My life has been transformed by Jesus and I want nothing more than to bring this joy to others and introduce them to the life-changing message of the Gospel. In His ministry on earth, Jesus humbled Himself to meet us on our level, taking on our humanity, and spent most of His time investing deeply in a few. I look to Jesus own example to find the best method of reaching the world. I’ve been constantly amazed by the different people I’ve encountered in my first four years as a missionary, and cannot wait to enter into this fifth year on staff with FOCUS. While life on mission is not without its challenges, what a gift it is to be called higher each day – to be called one step closer to becoming the saint that Jesus wants me to be!
