We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
God has called me to serve college students at Auraria Campus in Denver, Colorado! The campus consists of three universities, which are University of Colorado Denver, Metro State University and the Community College of Denver. For my first semester as a full time missionary, I could not be more exited to serve with a team of all male missionaries! This is a brand new campus with about 40,000 colleges students and no Christian Ministry presence. That is about to change when we get out there and get help from the Holy Spirit to save souls!
As a missionary my greatest desire is to lead others closer to Christ and His heart. With the help of the opportunity of peer-ministry my Junior year of college and serving the students through various activities and being hospitable, is where I learned that I had a gift while being and graduating from Iowa State University! This gift was to invite others into getting to know Christ our savior and to hopefully have a friend that can be with them in their path to strengthening their faith, to then impact others through theirs. Community is so important for the many college students who do not know where they are headed in life. Community is also what made me find my love for Christ again!
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on Jesus and my mission partners to help me through this mission. To multiply God’s kingdom. I’ve been blessed and continue to be through the many challenges with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus. If you are interested in knowing more, please feel free to contact me. I’d be honored to share this mission with you.
We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
