I work remotely from Kingwood, Texas (Houston suburb) but the work I do reaches the entire USA. As the program director of the alumni team, I get to use my gifts of planning and administration to serve the alumni team. Together we put on about 40 events across the country, lead the Making Missionary Disciples track for parishes at our annual SEEK conference, host a pilgrimage to the Holy Land, put on our annual Go Forth conference for 200 of our departing staff every year, and walk deeply with alumni across the country- preparing and equipping them to translate their experience of mission on campus to their local parishes. 

We have over 10,000 student and staff alumni that have been formed and trained by FOCUS since 1998. Our goal is to empower them to share the Gospel with their family, friends, and local community to change the world for Christ.  

As a student at The University of Texas at Austin, I met a FOCUS missionary who taught me how to pray and introduced me to the life-changing message of the Gospel. That inspired me to join staff with FOCUS.

I served at Northwestern University in Chicago for one year, and then Vanderbilt University in Nashville for two years. Following my time on campus, I felt the call to move to Denver to found and lead a pro-life initiative within FOCUS called Love Life. Bringing the Gospel of Life to our campuses was a great joy, but after five years, our dear Lord made it very clear that I was called to a new mission. 

In 2020, I switched over to our Alumni Team. I now get to serve as a missionary to our alumni- inspiring and equipping them for lifetime of Christ centered evangelization. I worked intimately with alumni in Louisiana, Houston, Sioux Falls, and Oklahoma City for two years and I now serve our entire alumni team as the program director. I love to use my experience of many years of service with FOCUS to streamline the vision and strategy of our team. It has been a joy to work with FOCUS for the last 10 years and I’m excited to see what amazing things the Lord will do with our mission this year. 

I am now married to my husband Mike and we have three beautiful children: Elijah (5), Aidan (3), and Madeleine (1). 

When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus and beyond! After 10 years on staff, I am still blessed to live on this complete reliance from God.
