Last year I served at Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas. I met a lot of sophomores and freshmen, Catholic and non Catholic, and built friendships with many of them. This year, I will be continuing at ASU and I am pumped to deepen these relationships and see the ways these men grow and mature spiritually. I feel in my bones that atleast a handful of the guys are going to see serious transformations this year- I am so grateful to have a front row seat to these things! A typical day for me includes hanging out with Jesus and students in the chapel, on campus, in bible study, and elsewhere around town!

I devoutly followed Jesus throughout high school and into college, but I did not know Him deeply until my senior year at Mizzou. My life was transformed when some FOCUS missionaries invited me into their lives, helped me understand my desperate need for Jesus, showed me how to pray honestly, and invited me to give up everything that was a barrier to me receiving His love. Since then, the Father has placed a fire in my heart to share the freedom, peace, and joy that comes from receiving His merciful love. During my senior year, He invited me to push back grad school in Meteorology so that I could be single-minded in inviting college men into relationship with Him. 

There is no place more formative, yet conflicting for a man than the college campus. The time spent here will determine the trajectory of the rest of his life, the lives of his family, and the world. As a FOCUS missionary, I work full-time to ensure that men on the college campus recognize their need for a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and the lasting joy that following Him will bring. Such a high call requires great support; I cannot do it alone.
