We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
I am serving for my second year at the University of Wisconsin – Madison. GO BADGERS! You can typically find me hanging out at St. Paul’s Catholic Student Center, walking on lakeshore path, or searching for the best brunch in Madison. I’d love to hear your story and share more of mine – let’s go together!
I went to college at Iowa State University planning to keep my Catholic faith a part of my life. I met the FOCUS missionaries on campus whose lives showed me that truly knowing Jesus Christ, He becomes the center of everything. I began to follow their example of praying daily with Scripture, receiving the sacraments, and growing in authentic friendships. Through these habits and the abundant grace of God, Jesus Christ became my best friend and everything changed.
Pope Francis says that “mission is always the fruit of a life which knows what it is to be found and healed, encountered and forgiven.” This is the story of my life with Christ: encounter, healing, and freedom, all so much deeper than I could have ever imagined. I said yes to being a missionary because I know He desires this intimate relationship with everyone, starting now on Earth and into eternity in Heaven. As His disciple, Jesus has entrusted ME with the message of the Gospel, and has sent me to share it with the students of UW-Madison. It is my honor and joy to be His missionary!
By this my Father is glorified; that you bear much fruit and become my disciples.” John 15:8
As a full-time missionary, I rely on the spiritual and financial support of my mission partners to fulfill my call to serve on campus. God called me by name to be a FOCUS Missionary, and in the same way He has called many people to partner with me with their prayers and financial gifts. If you would like to “go by giving” and support my mission, let me know the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment. I’d be honored to share this mission with you.

We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
