God has called me to serve college students. I am currently serving at The University of Florida in Gainesville. Go Gators!

I grew up in a wonderful Catholic home where my family went to Mass every Sunday and I was able to attend Catholic school for 14 years. However, I did not have a relationship with God. I knew all the stories and all the basic Catholic Church teachings, but I did not know God the Father. I kept this mindset going in to college too. I immediately joined a sorority and placed my identity in friend groups, grades, and leadership positions. I spent 3 years searching for my own worth in places I would never find it.

It wasn’t until my senior year of college, in the Fall of 2017, that I met my first FOCUS missionary Autumn. I was invited to her bible study where she asked me, “Who is God?” I did not have an answer. I spent that whole semester looking for that answer. Not only did Autumn ask me hard questions, but she prayed and went to mass daily. I  had never met someone who was so sold out for God and still “cool”. I was sure that she knew God in an intimate way and I wanted to know how I could too.

In January of 2018, I attended a FOCUS conference, and that was the first time I ever encountered Jesus in the Eucharist. I specifically heard Jesus tell me to center my entire life around Him, and if I did not I would never be truly happy. From that point on, I knew my life had to change. I began learning how to pray and what it means to live a life of virtue. The next year I entered in to discipleship with a new missionary named Becca. She challenged me to pursue Jesus in a radical way. Becca showed me how to pray and how to live like an authentic disciple of Jesus Christ. 

As a missionary, my greatest desire is to lead all students to Christ. My life has been transformed by Jesus and I want nothing more than to bring this joy to others and introduce them to the life-changing message of the Gospel.
