We had the pleasure of serving as campus missionaries for five years in California, Kentucky, and Iowa! Now, we are blessed to continue our work with FOCUS through serving at our National Office in Denver.

John will be beginning his second year as a Regional Director, overseeing campuses in Colorado, South Dakota, Kansas, and Arizona. Kylie will begin her fourth year serving as a Recruitment Manager, recruiting and hiring men and women to serve as missionaries with FOCUS.

As missionaries, our greatest desire is to lead students to Christ. Our lives have been transformed by the love of Christ and we want nothing more than to bring this joy to others.

John’s Story…By my junior year in college, I had lost all faith and hope in even the idea of God. I wasn’t just atheist and openly persecuting anyone with a belief; I was broken and embellishing the culture of my campus. I encountered a genuine love. This love, this truth, changed me. A God present with his people, openly sharing love with the abandoned, openly sharing love with the hurt and broken, and openly welcoming all of us to a greater, true fulfillment in life. This is what I desire to share with others.

Kylie’s Story…As a freshmen in college at South Dakota State University, I encountered the Lord in a radical way. A God who seemed so distant from me filled my heart with love during adoration. I had never encountered anything more real in my life, and I was forever changed. The more I came to know Him, the more I desired to serve Him.

When we answered the call to join FOCUS, we made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help us through this mission. We’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with us throughout our years as missionaries!
