We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
God has called me to serve college students as the team director at Northwestern State University. God has used the people in my life now to show me what it means to live in a deep personal relationship with Him that impacts every other relationship in my life. He asks me to live with His children on campus, helping them know Him by inviting them into my personal relationship with Him. This means inviting people over for a home-cooked meal, buying someone a coffee and supporting their studying, or taking someone on a walk or hike to relax, leading a Bible study, and encouraging students to join me in daily prayer and frequent sacraments.
I was deeply converted to pursue my faith and relationship with God while I was studying biology at Western Kentucky University. When I was a sophomore in college I met the FOCUS missionaries who invested in me and encouraged me to go to a conference (SLS 2018) where I had a deep conversion and inspiration to pursue my faith. I am continuing to grow everyday in my relationship with God and have learned that through the hardships I can learn to understand Jesus’s love for me more. I hope to help more college students encounter Christ the same way I was able to.
The unique model of a missionary’s life allows them to bring along many people who believe in the importance of evangelizing college students. These people are my mission partners who have entrusted their personal gifts generously to be used on mission, though their life circumstances prevent them from being physically present on campus. If you feel called to support me and my mission on Vanderbilt’s campus, please let me know the best way to reach you and we can schedule an appointment to get you involved!

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
