We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
God has called me to Montclair State University to be a light and a friend to college students and to help them find true joy in a life lived in communion with Christ and his Church.
After graduating from the University of Minnesota Duluth I spent several years working at UnitedHealth Group in both accounting and finance roles. I felt very blessed to have the opportunity to work for this company but during my time there God spoke to me in an unexpected way and asked me to serve him as a FOCUS missionary. When I first was asked to consider the possibility of becoming a missionary I did not think there was much of a chance that this was what God was really asking me to do. It was definitely not a part of my five year plan and I had worked really hard to get to where I was in my career. But while having a conversation about this possibility with my brother (who is also a FOCUS missionary) a desire to set aside my professional ambitions in finance and become a missionary was placed in my heart. After a couple months of intense discernment it became clear to me that becoming a FOCUS missionary was a part of God’s plan for my life. I am so grateful for the grace I have received to be able to say yes to this call and all the ways God continues to bless me on this journey.
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment. I’d be honored to share this mission with you.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
